Plate heat exchanger consists of corrugated plates fixed with gasket and these are mounted between fixed frame and movable frame, Top and Bottom cariying bar are used for hanging the plates in beyween frames and ties rods are used for tightening to the required plate pack. Fluids enter through the connections in the frame and are distributed in between plates. The fluids flow thorough alternate passages between plates by means of gasket arrangment.

The number and Size of plates are determined by the flow rate, Physical properties of Fluids, Pressure Drop and Temperature Program. The Plate Corrugations promote the fluid turbulence.

Applications

Cooling and Heating of Various Fluids such as Water, Oil, Emulsion, Brine Solutions, Process Chemical etc.

This Conventional Gasket Type PHE can be used for fluids where particles size do not exceed two mm in size.
